(in solo), becoming transparent etc., if you enable cheats in Aleph One. Prefs are global for all instances of Aleph One. So if I open Aleph One in my Marathon 2 folder, change it's prefs, and save them, then open Aleph One in my Marathon Infinity folder, and click New Game - I start playing Marathon 2 since it loads the Map file set in.

It would be nice to get it working properly (it opens but you should get a beep instead of the techno music) and the three patches (infinite ammo, infinite life, baddies don't attack) don't seem to work. I'll have to dig for it but it still has my old BBS' phone number. It was an infinite health/ammo/time +3 trainer from what I recall.

Last time I tried to run it I would end up just getting a beep and none of the patches actually taking effect. I can't recall what secret sauce of extensions was needed (I had Sound Manager 3.1 installed IIRC) but if I find it I'll upload it. Would be even cooler if someone got it working again. SkyCapt - it was well 'wasted' time if you ask me.
Pathways was really amazing when I first saw it early 90s, we were not spoiled back then. If I recall correctly, this was the first commercial 3D texture-mapped game on the Macintosh.

However, the archiver has used MacZip to create the.zip archive they are stored in and unless you use MacZip to unzip these under 'Classic' or a native classic Mac OS, they do not decompress correctly. Their Mac resource forks plus Creator & File Type codes will be missing.MacZip stores/restores Mac resource forks using its own proprietary scheme. So if you can, use MacZip to restore this archive (drag the zip archive onto a closed MacZip icon to extract). At the Garden.Otherwise, try dragging the '.dsk' as is, onto a Disk Copy 6 icon, I think I've had success that way.
Or if you know the Creator & File Type codes for DiskDup files you can change these manually using or a utility designed for this, such as.If using an emulator, you can also mount.dsk files as disk drives by either designating them as drive files in the GUI or dragging them onto the emulator's window while it is running.
